Congruence kicking in...

Remembered to check a potential homology on the male prosternum in some of the larger Cotithene species, in an attempt to resolve the trichotomy in the preceding cladogram. It seems to hold up well! , indicating the existence of a globulicollis-ana-mel clade.

This is now integrated into Cotithene8.winc. The male head characters are rechecked in light of this insight.

Small male frontal projection coded separately from rugulosity and presence of elevation (additive binary coding) to reflect narrow homology assessments. Cotithene str coded as additive, state 2 (with 3 projections). Setal length and orientation appear uninformative. Cotithene globulicollis + mel with dorsal, subbasal impression on rostrum (thus possibly reversed in ana). Cladogram will come soon, after arranging characters in sequence.
